§ 70. Mr. CLOUGHasked the Postmaster General whether he is aware that there are complaints from traders regarding the delays in the dispatch of parcels to France; and whether he will cause an investigation to be made at once into the matter with a view to improvement?
§ Mr. ILLINGWORTHThere is no delay in the dispatch of parcels to France; but I have reason to believe that the delivery of parcels after arrival in France is slower than in ordinary times. I am making inquiry of the French Post Office with a view to an acceleration of the service.
