HC Deb 31 October 1918 vol 110 c1583
13. Mr. FRANCIS MEEHAN

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether the Irish Government have taken any steps to increase the pay and pensions of the Royal Irish Constabulary and the Dublin Metropolitan Police; and, if not, whether having regard to the increased cost of living and seeing that these forces have, under very trying circumstances, remained loyal and faithful, their demands will be attended to?

Mr. SAMUELS

It is hoped to introduce the promised Bill very shortly.
