§ Mr. PARKER (Lord of the Treasury)The task of relieving distress due to the shortage of food in Albania is being undertaken by the Italian Government, who have, I understand, already taken steps to meet the urgent necessities of the situation. I should add that the relief of distress due to shortage of food in this and the neighbouring regions is under the general direction of the Inter-Allied Food Council.
