§ Mr. BONAR LAWThe War Cabinet decided in March last that the question whether women should be paid the same remuneration as men engaged on similar duties is one of policy which is not within the competence of the Board for decision by way of conciliation or arbitration. As the hon. Member is no doubt aware, this question has since been referred to a. Committee specially set up for the purpose under the chairmanship of Mr. Justice Atkin.
