HC Deb 04 November 1918 vol 110 cc1798-9
Sir H. DALZIEL

Can the right hon. Gentleman give any indication of when a statement will be made to the House regarding the proceedings at Versailles?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I cannot hold out any hope of a very early statement on the subject. My right hon. Friend must be aware communications have to be, first of all, made to the Government of the United States, and I do not think it would be right to make a statement until the terms are known to the German Government.
