HC Deb 04 November 1918 vol 110 c1785
46. Mr. O'DOWD

asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that the Irish Convention sitting in Trinity College, Dublin, unanimously adopted a scheme for the better housing of the working classes in the cities and towns in Ireland; and whether the Government intends to give legislative effect to that scheme?

Mr. SHORTT

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The recommendations of the Convention in this matter will be carefully borne in mind in the consideration of Irish housing requirements.
