§ 43. Mr. COCHRANEasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether any officers, non-commissioned officers, or men in uniform who are engaged on clerical work in this country are entitled to draw meat rations in excess of those allowed to civilians engaged on similar work; and, if so, what is the justification for this difference in treatment?
§ Mr. CLYNESThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the latter part, I can add nothing to the answer given on Monday by the Financial Secretary to the War Office.
