§ Order for Second Reading read.
§ Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Bill be now read a second time."
§ Mr. KINGI understand that it is not intended to take more than the Second Reading to-night, and I hope I am correct in supposing that the Committee stage will come after Easter. If so, I am only too glad to let the Second Reading be taken. I think the Government recognise that particular interest is taken in this Bill this year, and that some important Amendments and Debates may arise upon it.
§ Question put, and agreed to.
§ Bill read a second time, and committed to a Committee of the Whole House for Thursday.—[Lord E. Talbot.]
§ The remaining Orders were read, and postponed.
§ Whereupon Mr. SPEAKER, pursuant to the Order of the House of the 13th February, proposed the Question, "That this House do now adjourn."
§ Question put, and agreed to.
§ Adjourned accordingly at Twenty-two minutes before Eleven o'clock.
