HC Deb 11 March 1918 vol 104 c25
18. Mr. PRINGLE

asked the First Commissioner of Works how much of the expenditure on the new Labour Exchange at Partick will be incurred before the 31st March, 1918?

The FIRST COMMISSIONER of WORKS (Sir A. Mond)

The negotiations for the proposed site having fallen through, no expenditure is expected to fall upon the Vote for the current financial year.

Mr. PRINGLE

Will the right hon. Gentleman correct the statement which he made in the discussion on the Supplementary Estimates for the current year with respect to the Labour Exchange mentioned in the question?

Sir A. MOND

My statement with regard to that was quite correct at the time. This has happened since I made that statement.
