6. Mr. SHIRLEY BENNasked the Secretary for India whether he has received a Report from the Imperial Institute on the subject of the trade in raw Indian cow hides; and whether it is intended that this Report shall be published at an early date?
Mr. FISHERThe Report has been received. Its publication at present is not proposed, as the Government of India, to whom it has been sent, desire first to form their own conclusions on the subject. The Board of Trade agree that this course is advisable.
