HC Deb 26 June 1918 vol 107 c1048
46. Commander BELLAIRS

asked the Prime Minister whether he can place before the House the latest information as to the campaigns in Asia and as to the alleged rebellion of Essad Pasha?

Mr. BONAR LAW

All the information which could be made public has been published in official communiqués from time to time. I have no information with regard to the rebellion referred to.

Commander BELLAIRS

Will the right hon. Gentleman give us some information at a future date concerning the situation in the Black Sea? We really do not know what ships have been taken by the Germans and what have not.

Mr. BONAR LAW

It was considered before the first statement, both by myself and the Prime Minister, whether the information could be given to the House, and we came to the conclusion it could not.
