asked if Grade 3 men over forty-one years of age are now being called to the Colours in spite of the pledges given by him that this would not be done?

If the hon. Member will consult the OFFICIAL REPORT of the Debate on the 11th April of this year he will find that the words I used were: I am not giving any pledge that Grade 3 men will not be called up. At present Grade 3 men of the new military age are not being called up. I would remind the hon. Member, however, that the new military age begins, approximately, at forty-three, not at forty-one!
