HC Deb 29 July 1918 vol 109 c6
8. Major NEWMAN

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he can ascertain what is the nature of the Government work which a firm of enemy origin, Kraft, Hornung and Company, alias the English and Continental Casings Company, are carrying on at Bradford; will he say when and on what terms they acquired these works and to whom did they formerly belong; and will he say if, in addition to one of the directors, the firm employs at their various branches throughout the country fifteen German subjects, in addition to three which they employ at Bradford?

Sir A. STANLEY

I am having inquiries made, the result of which I will communicate to the hon. and gallant Member.
