HC Deb 18 July 1918 vol 108 c1227
27. Sir R. COOPER

asked the Home Secretary which German school is still open; what is the nature of the control of the Board of Education and by the London County Council of this school; is it under the regular control of a British person; and are any Germans concerned with its administration?

Sir G. CAVE

I do not know to what school the hon. Baronet refers. The whole subject of schools conducted under German influence has been examined exhaustively in conjunction with the Board of Education, and I understand that no institution that can be described as a German school is now open. In several cases Germans formerly connected with such schools have been repatriated.
