§ 27. Sir R. COOPERasked the Home Secretary which German school is still open; what is the nature of the control of the Board of Education and by the London County Council of this school; is it under the regular control of a British person; and are any Germans concerned with its administration?
§ Sir G. CAVEI do not know to what school the hon. Baronet refers. The whole subject of schools conducted under German influence has been examined exhaustively in conjunction with the Board of Education, and I understand that no institution that can be described as a German school is now open. In several cases Germans formerly connected with such schools have been repatriated.
