§ 76. Mr. HOGGEasked the Minister of Munitions on what terms Messrs. Waring and Gillow's Alliance Aeroplane Factory has been taken over as a settlement of the recent strike; and whether it is proposed to take any others over on the same terms.
§ Mr. KELLAWAYI have nothing to add to the reply given yesterday to a similar question asked by the hon. Member for Pembroke.
§ Mr. HOGGEWhen will my hon. Friend be in a position to state on what terms the factory has been taken over?
§ Mr. KELLAWAYIt is impossible to say at the moment how long the negotiations will take. As soon as I am in a position to do so I will indicate to my hon. Friend.
§ Mr. HOGGEDoes that mean that the negotiations for taking over the factory have not yet been made, and it has not yet been taken over?
§ Mr. KELLAWAYThat also I answered yesterday. The factory has, in fact, been taken over, and the conditions of the taking over are now under negotiation.
§ Mr. KELLAWAYThat is a question of which I require notice.
