asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he will sympathetically consider the granting to non-commissioned officers and men who have been mentioned in dispatches the right to wear a distinctive ribbon, also a star or other distinctive mark for each subsequent mention?

After sympathetic consideration, it has been found that, the adoption of the suggestion of my hon. and gallant Friend would not be practicable.
