HC Deb 17 January 1918 vol 101 cc490-1
53. Mr. LYNCH

asked the Prime Minister, in view of the fact that after more than three years of war German princes actively engaged in leading German forces against the Allies are still in enjoyment of special privileges and powers in this country denied to ordinary British citizens, whether he will take steps immediately to put a stop to these privileges?

Mr. BONAR LAW

Action in this matter is now being taken in accordance with the Bill recently passed.

Mr. LYNCH

Does the right hon. Gentleman recognise that three and a half years have passed since these German princes have been protected by the Government?
