asked whether the Government, if it has made or is making an advance of capital to the Canadian Nickel Corporation, has stipulated that no monopoly should be given to any firm, especially to Merton and Company, and that no alien enemy business should be transacted by the Canadian Corporation now or hereafter

Mr. WARDLE

The British-America Nickel Corporation, to which the hon. and gallant Member no doubt refers, has not yet reached the producing stage, and, consequently, no arrangements as to marketing its output have yet been made. The suggestions of the hon. and gallant Member will, however, be borne in mind.

Mr. PRINGLE

Can the hon. Gentleman give any approximate idea as to when this company will produce nickel?

Mr. WARDLE
