HC Deb 20 February 1918 vol 103 c741
64. Mr. ROWNTREE

asked the Minister of Labour whether it is intended to apply the principle laid down in the Whitley Report to Government Departments, and more particularly to the Post Office; and, if so, what steps are being taken with regard to the matter?

The MINISTER of LABOUR (Mr. Roberts)

I have been in consultation with the Treasury and some of the other Departments principally concerned, including the Post Office, and hope to be able to make a statement at an early date.
