§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of MUNITIONS (Mr. Kellaway)Simultaneously with the reduction in certain types of munitions, the Ministry has had to meet a greatly increased demand for other types, such as tanks, aeroplanes, and engines. In consequence, it has not yet been possible to reduce the office staff, but my right hon. Friend has appointed a strong Committee to inquire into and report on the quest on of the extent to which economies may be effected in the Headquarters Staff of the Ministry.
§ Mr. PRINGLECan the hon. Gentleman say when this Committee is expected to report?
§ Mr. KELLAWAYThey will begin work at once, but I cannot anticipate the date of the Report.
