HC Deb 24 April 1918 vol 105 c979
21. Mr. CHANCELLOR

asked whether 25,000 barrels of Kentucky whisky have been ordered by the British Government for the use of the men at the front; and, if so, whether this liquor is to be served out in addition to, or in substitution for, the rum ration?

Mr. MACPHERSON

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. The latter part does not, therefore, arise.
