HC Deb 23 April 1918 vol 105 cc832-3
8. Mr. CHANCELLOR

asked the Under Secretary of State for War whether soldiers suffering from small-pox in 1916 were treated in military hospitals or in isolation hospitals maintained by the local sanitary authority; and, if in isolation hospitals, can he state the districts in which the cases occurred?

Mr. MACPHERSON

I am afraid this information cannot be made available without the expenditure of time and labour which can ill be spared in the present emergency, and I should be glad, therefore, if my hon. Friend will not press me to obtain it.
