HC Deb 09 April 1918 vol 104 c1324
46. Mr. ROWLANDS

asked the Prime Minister what arrangements the Government propose to make with regard to the Sittings of the House when the new Closing Order comes into force for public places to close at 10.30, and the trains, tramcars, and omnibuses are to stop running at an earlier hour than at present; and will he also consider the advisability of proposing a time limit on the speeches of Members?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I am informed that the Early Closing Order will not interfere with the means of locomotion to such an extent as to render it necessary that the House should close earlier than eleven o'clock.
