§ Dr. MACNAMARAThe tonnage referred to in my hon. and gallant Friend's question was included in the 33,000,000 ocean-going tonnage (other than enemy) estimated as being afloat in August, 1914. The amount is small in relation to the total figures, but it would not be in the public interest to state the precise amount.
