HC Deb 22 November 1917 vol 99 c1347
47. Mr. LYNCH

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the revelations in Athens of the part played by the Court- in interfering with the Salonika Expedition and the negative results obtained at the cost of such expenditure of men and treasure, he will set up a small Commission, sitting in secret if necessary, but provided with the fullest possible powers, to investigate the whole affair thoroughly and report the origin and the character of faults, diplomatic or military, committed, and especially to advise, by interim reports in cases of urgency, on the main sources of faults or dangers that still remain?

Mr. BONAR LAW

The answer is in the negative.

Mr. LYNCH

I beg to give notice that I will raise this question on the Adjournment. I will show the House who are the Bolos, and who are their protectors.
