HC Deb 19 November 1917 vol 99 cc845-6
76. Mr. MacVEAGH

asked whether arrangements will be made to supply the 200 members of the Warrenpoint Cooperative Society with an adequate supply pending the coming into operation of the sugar-card scheme?

Mr. CLYNES

I am afraid that for the remaining weeks of the year the society must be content with its proportionate share of the supplies received during the year 1915.

Mr. MacVEAGH

If they cannot get the supply, what are they to do?

Mr. CLYNES

The individual members have still the right to obtain their supplies through their private grocers.
