HC Deb 30 March 1917 vol 92 cc762-3
33. Mr. W. THORNE

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he can state the number of persons who have paid for admission to the various horse-race meetings during the past two weeks ending 24th March; and whether all field-glasses used by racing men have been requisitioned for the Army?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of TRADE (Mr. Roberts)

These are not matters on which the Board of Trade have any official information.

Mr. THORNE

Mr. SPEAKER

That is not in the province of the Board of Trade
