HC Deb 20 March 1917 vol 92 c21
49. Admiral of the Fleet Sir HEDWORTH MEUX

asked the Prime Minister whether the War Cabinet have, considered the present blockade policy of this country and arrived at a decision with respect to it?

Mr. BONAR LAW

Yes, Sir; the whole question of the blockade has been fully considered by the Cabinet with their naval advisers, and they are satisfied that the present blockade policy is right in principle and is being efficiently administered. The accounts which reach us from Germany through many channels confirm this view.
