HC Deb 15 March 1917 vol 91 c1263
29. Mr. CULLINAN

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether, in response to the demand made by many public bodies in Ireland, he will see his way to appoint a representative for the South of Ireland on the Executive Committee of management of Irish railways?

Mr. DUKE

I am not aware of any general demand for the appointment of a representative of the South of Ireland on the Irish Railway Executive Committee. The matter is one for the consideration of the Board of Trade.
