HC Deb 14 March 1917 vol 91 c1091
77. Mr. GILBERT

asked the President of the Board of Trade if any decision has yet been come to as regards giving up the use of saloon, first, and second-class carriages on all railways for the period of the War with the object of saving rolling stock and labour?

Mr. ROBERTS

I cannot add to the reply given to the question which the hon. Gentleman asked on this subject on the 13th February, except that the matter is before the Railway Executive Committee.
