HC Deb 14 March 1917 vol 91 c1096
Mr. DEVLIN

(by Private Notice) asked the Home Secretary whether it is a fact that editorial comments in the American and Colonial Press on the recent Home Rule Debate in the House of Commons have been received in this country, and whether permission to publish them in the newspaper Press of Great Britain and Ireland was refused by the Press Censor; and, if so, what were the grounds for such refusal?

Sir G. CAVE

I have made inquiries of the Press Bureau, and I am informed that no messages of the kind referred to have been stopped.
