HC Deb 06 March 1917 vol 91 c200
18. Mr. MacVEAGH

asked when the-Committee on the Supply of Nurses completed its Report; when it was received by the War Office; and when it will be made available to Members of Parliament?

Mr. MACPHERSON

The Report has been received and is now under the consideration of the Council. There does not appear to be any objection to the document being laid on the Table of the House, but I would prefer not to pledge myself at the moment to the date when this can be-done.

Mr. MacVEAGH

Can the hon. Gentleman explain the cause of the delay in laying it on the Table?

Mr. MACPHERSON

We have only just received it, and it is at present being considered by the Army Council. Until they have considered it I cannot lay it on the Table.
