HC Deb 05 March 1917 vol 91 c27
48. Mr. MacCALLUM SCOTT

asked the Prime Minister whether, before issuing any drastic regulations affecting individual trades, the Director-General of National Service will give an opportunity to the various trades concerned to consider his proposals and to make suggestions?

Mr. BONAR LAW

The Director-General of National Service endeavours to keep in close touch with any trades likely to be affected by any action of his Department. His officers have already received numerous deputations and are arranging others. Written communications, also, are constantly received and have full consideration.
