HC Deb 05 March 1917 vol 91 cc30-1
57. Brigadier-General CROFT

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the Government is now prepared to consider the whole question of double Income Tax charged to Dominion citizens resident in this country; and, if so, whether it is intended to introduce proposals in the coming Budget?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I may remind my hon. and gallant Friend that in accordance with the invariable rule it is not possible for me to anticipate the proposals in the coming Budget.
