HC Deb 05 March 1917 vol 91 c36
70. Mr. C. DUNCAN

asked the Secretary to the Admiralty whether a Bundy time-recording clock is being introduced into the Admiralty Office at Whitehall; and whether it is intended that the whole of the staff employed there shall be clocked in and out in the future?

Dr. MACNAMARA

A time-recording clock is being introduced for recording the attendance of the messenger staff with the object of facilitating the work of checking and calculating claims for overtime attendance. The clock will be used in all cases, except a few in which it could; not conveniently be used.
