HC Deb 28 June 1917 vol 95 c536
75. Sir EDWARD PARROTT

asked the Secretary for Scotland whether he will set up a teachers' registration council similar to that which has been instituted in England?

Mr. MUNRO

As my hon. Friend is doubtless aware, the circumstances of England and Scotland in educational matters differ considerably, and I do not consider it either necessary or expedient that the precedent of England should be followed in this matter.
