WILSON(by Private Notice) asked the Under-Secretary of State for 2121 War whether he has received a request from the Gretna Workmen's Committee to meet them in conference to discuss certain matters in connection with the administration of the Military Service Acts, and whether he proposes to grant the request?
§ Mr. MACPHERSONI have not received a request from the Gretna Workmen's Committee to meet them in conference, but I should be very happy to receive a deputation from them if my hon. Friend would try and fix a date and give me beforehand particulars of the special requests which are made.
Mr. WILSONI thank the hon. Gentleman for his reply. As the Munitions Department is not represented here just now, may I ask him to discuss this with the Minister of Munitions, and see if he can arrange with his right hon. Friend to meet them at the same time?
