HC Deb 21 June 1917 vol 94 c1946
29. Mr. KING

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is aware that in the Representation of the People Bill, as introduced, no provision is made for extending the law relating to corrupt practices to acts committed by or in respect of voters outside the United Kingdom; and whether he is prepared to make provision for such extension?

The UNDERSECRETARY of STATE for the HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. Brace)

If the hon. Member will send to the Home Secretary particulars as to the kind of offence he has in mind, my right hon. Friend will consider whether any amendment of the law is required.
