HC Deb 21 June 1917 vol 94 c1953
41. Mr. BOLAND

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether the new Commissioner for Dyes will place himself in communication with the National University of Ireland, the Royal College of Science in Dublin, and other scientific centres in Ireland in which research work in the matter of dyes has been carried out, with a view to co-ordination of effort with the similar work being carried out in Great Britain?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of TRADE (Mr. Roberts)

In formulating any scheme for the coordination of research in connection with the dye industry, the Dyes Commissioner will not fail to take fully into account the work being done in Ireland.
