HC Deb 19 June 1917 vol 94 c1620
Mr. LEIF JONES

(by Private Notice) asked whether, for the convenience of the House, the Home Secretary could announce when the Division on the question of the enfranchisement of women is likely to be taken?

Sir G. CAVE

It is difficult to form an exact estimate, but, subject to what hon. Members may say, I think it will be in accordance with the general wish of the House that the Division on the principal Amendment should be taken to-night.
