§ 86. Mr. FIELDasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland what are the intentions of the Government respecting the pro- 1620 posed peat culture, utilisation, and reclamation schemes, especially regarding Edenderry?
§ Mr. DUKEAs I stated on the 23rd May, an Irish Committee of the Fuel Research Board is about to deal with the question of the use of peat. I am told there is a peat moss litter factory at Edenderry, but I have no information as to any proposals in regard to peat in that district, and such proposals, if made, could not be considered pending the investigation of the Irish Peat Committee.
§ Mr. GINNELLWill the Chief Secretary tell us when this investigation will begin?
