asked whether the Government have resold any of the wheat purchases made by them, and if such transactions were effected at a loss to this country?

Mr. BRIDGEMAN

All the wheat purchased by the Government either has been, or will be, resold in due course. No general statement of profit and loss can be made at present.

Mr. BILLING

What will be done with the profit?
