HC Deb 13 June 1917 vol 94 c1096

May I take this opportunity also of saying that I have just learned that there has been a serious munitions explosion in Ashton-under-Lyne, with a number of casualties, which I understand has no connection with the air raid. I have not sufficient information to enable me to say more than that it is serious, and that there-have been a number of killed and injured.

Adjourned accordingly at Eight minutes after Eleven o'clock.
