HC Deb 07 June 1917 vol 94 c314
27. Mr. O'DOWD

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he can explain the grounds upon which Mrs. Mary Lang, of Knocknagee, Ballinakill, Riverstown, county Sligo, at present in receipt of a pension of 3s., was refused the 5s. per week awarded her by the local pension committee; whether he is aware that this woman is wholly destitute, having nothing to live upon; and, if so, whether her case- will be inquired into?

The case is being investigated.
