27. Mr. O'DOWD

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he can explain the grounds upon which Mrs. Mary Lang, of Knocknagee, Ballinakill, Riverstown, county Sligo, at present in receipt of a pension of 3s., was refused the 5s. per week awarded her by the local pension committee; whether he is aware that this woman is wholly destitute, having nothing to live upon; and, if so, whether her case- will be inquired into?
