Captain BATHURSTI have received a report indicating the existence of the feeling referred to in the first part of the question. I am not aware of any substantial grounds for this feeling, but am making inquiries in the district referred to, and if it appears that there is any unfair preference in the distribution of any supplies now under the control of the Ministry of Food, action will be taken in the matter.
