asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that Lord North-cliffe, speaking in America, has stated that the people of this country w ere blinded by the fatuous optimism of soldiers and politicians, who, efficient in peace, were incompetent in war; and whether, having in mind the peculiar official position of Lord Northcliffe, lie will ask him how far these words refer to the present Government?
