HC Deb 04 July 1917 vol 95 c1093
87. Mr. FIELD

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether the War Office pays seamstresses at Woolwich 24s. a week and in Dublin 14s. a week, and laundry women at Woolwich 23s. to 27s. and in Dublin 14s.; if so, whether he can explain this discrimination of pay; and whether he will have it remedied?

Mr. FORSTER

I would refer my hon. Friend to the written answer which I gave to the hon. Member for the Harbour Division of Dublin on the 28th June.
