asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the fact that futures in cotton have been prohibited and speculation in foodstuffs prevented, he will consider the advisability of conferring with the Allied Governments as to the desirability of prohibiting gambling operations on stock exchanges and food markets through nominal purchases by means of futures and options after the War?
