The Governors of the West African Colonies and Protectorates have already released large numbers of civilian officers for military service, and have recently been urged to take all possible measures in this direction consistent with the safety of the territories under their administration.
§ Mr. BILLINGWill the hon. Gentleman communicate with the authorities with a view to obtaining from them a return of the men under military age?
