War Savings Certificates are still on sale at post offices, banks, etc., as before, and I sincerely trust that the stimulus given to the sale of these certificates during the War Loan campaign will result in the continuance of the excellent results then obtained. In view of the fact that neither Income Tax nor Super-tax is payable in respect of the interest earned on War Savings Certificates, I am not prepared to raise above 500 the limit for the number of certificates which may be held by or for the benefit of any one individual.
